Secure Worship and Public Spaces Cluster

New Collaborative Initiative for Community Security

News
The SAFE-CITIES project is proud to be a member of the Secure Worship and Public Spaces Cluster, an initiative launched in August 2024 by the SPIRIT project. Other members include EU-funded projects such as SHRINES, PRECRISIS, PROTONE, and PROTECTOR.

Members of the Cluster believe that collaboration achieves far more than individual efforts. This approach is strongly supported by the European Commission, which encourages clustering activities. Public spaces and places of worship face numerous challenges, and through this Cluster, these issues can be addressed more efficiently.

Mission of the Secure Worship and Public Spaces Cluster:

  • Strengthening collective actions to safeguard public spaces and places of worship.
  • Expanding the network by collaborating with like-minded organisations and experts.
  • Raising public awareness about safety and crisis prevention.
  • Preventing actions that threaten the safety and unity of communities.

The Cluster’s founders are committed to driving innovation and developing effective methods to manage emergencies, ensuring the well-being and security of communities.

All projects focused on community safety are welcome to join the Secure Worship and Public Spaces Cluster. We encourage you to consider this opportunity and become a new member by contacting the Cluster team: anna.pomortseva@eos-eu.com, guillaume.brumter@eos-eu.com or elodie.reuge@eos-eu.com.
